Went for a meal at Anjappar this evening after this recommendation. I agree lovely food and very nice people. I particularly enjoyed their masala dosa.

Question - Has management / ownership changed recently - or when ?

Tried here for a takeaway last weekend, following the recommendations here. Food took an hour to arrive and was lukewarm. The biryani was, at best, mediocre and the thali appeared to consist of just thin, watery liquids rather than recognisable solids.

Perhaps it was just an off night, or maybe takeaways aren't the restaurant's strong suit, but this was easily one of the least appetising Indian meals we've ever had.

I tried this a year or so ago - it is ok

Would like to see less items on the menu , fresh vegetables being bought as and when requested from across the road depending on what is chosed
