At present we don't keep a separate list of Trades / services recommendations - but the discussions where questions have been asked and suggestions made are available here, The search box (Top Right) should also call up discussions where a particular trade or service has been discussed anywhere on the site.

As has been pointed out the Bowes Park Community Association has an online list but I'm not sure it is recent or updated.Developing a similar list here is something that could be done - if people thought it useful (or volunteered to compile it!)

We would just need to make it clear that it's not the Bowes and Bounds Connected Website making a recommendation - but simply aggregating comments and the answers to questions from our members.

Hi Richard

The Harringey Families website has a really good model for this - I can find out from my friend who is involved with that organisation how they do it but the list is basically set up by trade, name of tradesman and then number of recommendations for that tradesman and you can drill down to see what each recommendation says. It looks as though the users add their recommendations themselves which is ideal so as you say it is clear that B and B Connected aren't making the recommendation but that the members are.
