A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
The Haringey Timebank, promoting sustainable living through the swapping of skills and time with it’s Greenbank initiative, invites Haringey artists to join in this exciting art project.
‘Found Art’ will explore the throw-away culture and its impact on the environment by exhibiting works of art constructed with recycled materials.
Wednesday 9 – Sunday 20 May 2012 ♦ New Gallery, Wood Green Library
The exhibition will run together with a series of workshops for Haringey residents to learn skills to creatively live more sustainably.
First, Second and Third place prizes will be awarded for submissions as judged by a panel.
We are currently accepting entries for exhibition and looking for individuals to facilitate workshops around a 'green' theme of upcycling, energy saving, etc.
Please spread the word widely across the borough. Guidelines and entry form are online now at http://www.haringeytimebank.org.uk/green-bank/found-art
