I got a takeaway from there last week - it was fabulous! Although, we had their veg set meal which involves loads of small pots of things, so environmentally not that sound but the food was wonderful, properly spiced and fresh and distinctive dishes. Very reasonable too and friendly people. They haven't done much with the restaurant - it's not terribly welcoming but for sure the food is good!

Thank you for the tips.  We have now tried both Fatisas and the Golden Phoenix and I can say as a vegetarian and as someone who is new to the area that they are both fab!  The Golden Phoenix in particular is one of the best Chinese take-aways I've ever had.  :-)
