Please support this site with an online donation

The Bowes and Bounds website began a while ago as a bit of an experiment to see whether we could harness the enormous community energy in our neighbourhood to build an online forum and noticeboard.

We are very grateful to the people and organisations who support this site and have helped build it up to where we are now.

The results of our recent online survey have shown us that people do value the site and the idea of a local online forum the project has grown to a point where we feel we need to make it a more structured set-up. Several suggestions from survey participants have identified ways we could grow the site and develop events and activities to connect people within our local communities.

We operate as an entirely volunteer-run community project. Whilst it's cheap to run the site - it's not free, so to make the changes and develop the site we are asking for a little support.

The more numbers we get on board as members the more we can attract local advertisers, do you know any of your neighbours or local friends who might want to join? A flyer is available to download please pass on to people who might be interested.

You can also directly invite people by e-mail. Just click on the "Invite" link above and fill in an e-mail address.

There are other ways to support the site - this can be by getting involved with contributing content, researching local information for our resources section, recruiting others to sign up, or by making a small donation to our costs. Please get in touch if you are interested in finding out more.

If you can help, please consider making an online donation via Paypal.

Thank You.

Haringey food bank were collecting food and money outside Morrisons the other day - could be a good one to consider? http://haringey.foodbank.org.uk/

That's a good idea! I was also thinking about the Samaritans and the Tin Tabernacle on Herbert Road.
