I use the lemon grass scented sachets from Wilko. There are also cedar wood balls and other things. Any moths I spot I squash. Seems to work!!!

Good suggestion. Once I have got rid of them I will definitely look into have some deterents in place to reduce the risk of revisits!! Many thanks.

Hello Nicki

Had this problem badly. I have cured it 90% with the chemical spray and sticky paper from this company.

Basically you need to get rid of what you have now. Have things on the floor ready for when the larvae hatch (they can live one year before hatching!), and then stop new ones coming in through windows and doors.

They have wispy webs with larvae on just outside your doors. Take a look. Get rid of them every few days. Keep doors/ windows shut after 7 ish. Use hoover to get rid if wispy webs in the corners of ceilings in the house. 

Put plastic moth papers in your wardrobes/ drawers to monitor activity (they only catch the males). Put them on the floor in the worst areas, this usually catches the females.

Keep at it. It works! Good luck!

Sorry! But they hatch and hang around under and between floor boards too......If you have rugs down on wood floors, vacuum them on the other side too.
