Oops had no response to this, just editing bits to re-ignite interest.

This would be a temporary dog sitter as I'm planning to go on holiday and wish to leave my dog with someone who genuinely loves dogs and has space in their home for him to be looked after whilst I'm away for around 5 nights in mid Nov. I came across Hounds Green http://www.houndsgreen.co.uk/ on Twitter recently. Looks like a local dogsitting service. Could work for you?

Hiya Lucy

Thank you so much for finding this, it is a great company but unsuitable for little oddie toots as there is a dog and cat already living there and they prefer one night stays. He's going to be so upset with me leaving him in the first place and nervous around other animals. He loves his peace and quiet. I will stick with home from home, its just they are so expensive but looks like I've no other choice.
