Our car was broken into on Monday night/Tues morning. Smashed passenger window and dented body work. Sat Nav was taken but was out of sight. An opportunist on a quiet, dark road. Just a warning for others in the area.

There is one of these today on Queens Rd as well.

And another — mine, on Manor Road.

This happened sometime between Sunday evening and Friday morning — the car isn't used that much. Nothing taken (nothing worth stealing inside), but the thieves punched a hole in the passenger door, near the lock, to gain entry. The police are on the way, so I'll mention that is the third break-in in the area I know of.

Sorry to hear. Really worth reporting to the police so they can build a map of incidents and try and track these idiots down.

Just a thought - if you use sat navs with one of the stick on holders on the window, make sure you wipe the window after removing the holder. Thieves will look for indication on windscreens that sat navs have been used.

Found out the hard way!
