Alan, that's a grand idea.... I have just emailed Enfield to see if we can get hold of some more litter-pickers for our event next Saturday 21 March.   You are very welcome to join us :).

Good to see lots of people discussing litter!   To all the keen litter-pickers here.... I have just posted a litter-picking event for next Saturday.

Community Clear-Up Day is on Saturday 21 March 2015.  This is a 'national spring clean', backed by the Government, that aims to spruce up the country's high streets, residential and business areas, villages and parks.

The BPCA and We Love Myddleton Road group are looking for volunteers to come and litter-pick on that day.

Time: 11.00 a.m, Saturday 21 March

Meet outside the Bowes Park nursery (near the station entrance on Whittington Road).

If you have litter-pickers/grabbers, do bring them.   If not we have some to lend to helpers.   We look forward to seeing you there.......
