A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Some years ago I put a photo of the Myddleton Road pied wagtail on B and B. He is back again, and this time has a female with him. You can spot them having breakfast on the central part of the shopping street, helping to clear up waste food.
On New Year's Day a couple of Canada Geese were sleeping off their late night New Year revels on the New River. Both had their heads tucked in their backs, and were gently floating down the river - see my photo.
Let us hope that 2020 will be a good year for our local birds and for the New River.
Happy New Year to all in Bowes Park and Bounds Green.
