Birding Fundraiser: Bruce Carson Memorial at CUFOS

One of the park’s most enthusiastic and dedicated birders, Bruce Carson, died suddenly in the summer. We are holding a birding event  to celebrate Bruce’s life and to raise funds for much-needed habitat improvement in the Cricket Scrub - an important spot for birds in Alexandra Park.  Bruce’s partner, Fiona, has kindly donated Bruce’s bird books to the Friends, and we will auction these at the event.
