"The real Eastenders (and a lot of hipsters)"
Meet Bounds Green station at 11:00. Travel to Liverpool Street via Kings Cross.
We will walk around the Spitalfields area, and take a look in Christ Church, a masterpiece designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor, before a break for lunch in Spitalfields Market.
After lunch we will continue via Brick Lane, the former Trumans's Brewery, more curry houses than you can shake a stick at, the Whitechapel Bell Foundry and a doss house where Stalin once stayed! You can depart here via Whitechapel station or continue a bit further to Shadwell, visiting en-route Watney market. Return from Shadwell by DLR/Northern Line (no Overground today).
About 3 miles. Finish before darkness. More detailed walk description here
