Hi Rachella,

John Waller was a regular contact of the Enfield and HAringey Advertiser - we didn't realise he had passed away.

 

We would like to write a tribute piece on him - would you be able to pass on my number: 0208 370 5476 to the HFRA?

I also add my condolence to the family of John Waller .When in 1984 St Gabriel' s  church  Bounds Green was demolished John campaigned to ensure a memorial stone was erected outside the new flats to remind us of the church. He rescued two Victorian silk processional banners from the church --these have been framed and are on display at St Paul's  Church ,do take a moment to look at them if you attend his funeral and remember what a tireless campaigner he was.I shall miss his droll humour .pat
