Samaritans national awareness campaign Talk to Us encourages people from all over the UK to take a few minutes to improve their listening skills by following the charity’s simple SHUSH! listening tips.

Bowes Park is on the verge of having an amazing new community space as we are at the final stage of a Big Lottery grant application to redevelop Shaftesbury Hall on Herbert Road, London, N11.

You may have seen that a professional team have taken the roof off Shaftesbury Hall.  This has been done to prevent squatters returning to the site whilst we apply to Big Lottery to refurbish the site.

The contractors were masked and suited when removing the asbestos.  They have informed us that all the asbestos was removed in a day and hoses were sprayed on to the panels.

North London Samaritans are looking for a new voluntary Treasurer - someone with an accountancy background.
