Yemani from Red Sea

Ever since the start of the BPCA nearly 20 years ago we have been supported and helped by the brothers who run the Red Sea Supermarket. They open and close the Garden and Gym every day, and always help in so many ways when asked. We are very sad indeed to have to tell people that Yemani, the tall, slim and younger brother, died after a two weeks sickness in UCH on the 23rd. His gentle friendliness and kindness will be much missed. Our deepest sympathy goes to his brothers, his son and daughter, and all his family.

For those who would like to join the family in remembering Yemane;

Prayers (Fithat) will be on Wednesday the 30th from 11.00 - 1.00 at Medhanie-Alem Church, Manor House Station, St Olave's Church, Woodberry Down N4 2TW

Reception will be from 1.00 - 6.00pm at St Olave's Hall, Woodberry Down, Manor House, London N4 2TW

I'm so sorry to hear that.  Deepest sympathies to the family.

People have been wondering in what way the Red Sea brothers would like people to commemorate Yemane.

I spoke with them yesterday about possible things that the BPCA and individuals could do.

They have talked together, and they would be happy for people to donate to the Meningitis Research Foundation if they wished.

Meningitis Research Foundation is a leading UK and international charity that brings together people and expertise to defeat meningitis and septicaemia wherever it exists.

I returned from overseas yesterday and went to buy milk, etc.  When I read the notice I felt very sad.  The brothers are very much part of the community and to lose Yemani, the younger brother, must have been very hard to bear.
