And on top of the above mentioned application we also have these two that have been submitted.
They are part of the Notting Hill Housing Trust 'Vision' for our area, with more planning applications to come. We are continually told that London needs more family homes so what's with all the one and two bed homes included in their scheme? Please do write to Mr Reilly (see below) and voice your concern. Bowes and Southgate Green has already had a mass of family homes converted into flats, can we fit more people in? As ever, where are the school places, decent shops, leisure facilities .....

An excellent response and if you don't mind I will circulate to members of the residents association asking that as many people as possible write letters of objection to the council. The scheme is way too big but for some reason Notting Hill Housing Trust think it's fine to keep submitting similar plans, with more to come.
I am secretary of the local residents association, Broomfield Home-owners and Residents Association, established 1929. If you would like to know more then you can email me at:

The council may not have programmed it into a planning meeting yet. Area Forum, Tuesday 29th Jan, 7.30, Fox Pub Green Lanes should include a discussion about how all the Notting Hill planning applications fit in with the councils Area Action Plan. If you can make the meeting please do.
A couple of people have objected on grounds of flooding and air quality.
