Today I spent all day in Tottenham at the Beehive Pub - where there was a life drawing class for complete beginners run by the Tottenham Art Group. It was very good, excellent tutor who gave us all one-to-one tuition as well as plenty of group tuition where he instructed us by drawing and showing us work he had done himself. Four years ago, one of the aspirations that Achilleas, Yasemin and I had was to try and get more GPs to come into the area. This was based on analysis that the number of surgeries per capita was below average for London. Quite a bit below in fact.

After the Community Garden plant sale last weekend we went to see what Wolves Lane Nursery had for our garden. There are tons of plant bargains to be had at present. We got 12 allysum plants for £3.50 (pictured planted up in our yard) and there were lots of different species on sale at the same 'double pack' price.
