Home Dog Boarding Required 3 nights over Christmas

Hi there I'm off on holiday from Tue 24th until Thur 27 th December and would love to find someone local, who loves dogs to care for mine whilst I'm away.

I travel abroad around 2 to 3 weeks a year and to leave my little treasure within a loving home would give me peace of mind whilst I'm away.

Walking my little dog twice a day only for around 10 mins each day is enough..

He's a typical lapdog so needs someone who ideally works from home or retired as does not like to… Continue

Seeking lost friends from 1960's Wood Green and Muswell Hill

Hello everyone my name is John. I appreciate there are other sites/places which (on the face of it) are more relevant for people finding. However, to be frank, I have exhausted them all.

To begin, I am not a local!  I live, and have always lived in Luton, Beds. Hope you will let me off the intrusion!

One lovely summers day back in 1967, my mate and I decided to take a non planned random tour around parts of North London.  We were both age 20 at the time.  We set off…

Help Us, Help You - Pharmacy Advice

On Monday 4th February, NHS England launched a new campaign to raise awareness that community pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals, who can offer clinical advice and over the counter medicines to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, tummy troubles, aches and pains and many more.

Get your flu jab

It’s not too late to get your flu jab! The flu jab is free if you’re aged 65 or over, or if you have a long-term health condition. If you have young children or are the main carer of an older or disabled person you may also be eligible. It’s safe and the best way to stay protected from the flu…

mugging at gunpoint

Whilst at a clients the lady related an event that happened about four weeks ago. A woman going home to her house in Northbrook road was held up at gunpoint by the site of the renovation of the chapel near the overland station. Anybody heard about this?

saving Osborne Grove Nursing Home from closure

Haringey's last nursing home for frail elederly people is being closed by the Haringey Cabinet decision of last December, yet the Scrutiny Panel of the Council, relatives of residents, and those who took part in a long consultation exercise have all said this should be paused at very least until the options of future functions for this very well designed and located site are considered. This will now not be until after the May elections, when a different decision is anticipated - to keep the…
